KIGNET- a chamber system for supporting the competitiveness of Polish enterprises
The Wielkopolska Chamber of Commerce and Industry participates, under the Sectoral Operational Program - Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises - action 1.1.2 in the KIGNET project. Currently this is the largest project co-financed with funds of the European Union.

KIGNET is a chamber system for supporting the competitiveness of Polish enterprises. Its activities are focused on breaking the "vicious circle" of the weakness of organizations operating in the business environment - including chambers of commerce - by delivering new, and fuller use of the existing:

  • KNOW-HOW with respect to:

    • areas of the current and future services rendered for enterprises;
    • organizing services of the chambers for enterprises and other entities (e.g. local and regional authorities);
    • promotional and marketing activities of the Chambers
  • CAPITAL to increase the intellectual and human resource, technical and organizational potential of network members.
The activities should result in the development of new ones, as well as in increasing the scope, reach and quality of services for entrepreneurs provided by the Chamber, as well as (which is equally important) assuring durability of these services over a long time period, and creating potential for their organic development.

The fundamental part of the KIGNET group consists of sub-networks of content-focused profile (oriented on a given area that is of interest to enterprises), and of functional profile (oriented on a given type of services).

Sub-networks of content-focused profile:

  • KIGNET  the European Single Market
  • KIGNET  Foreign Markets
  • KIGNET Brand
  • KIGNET e-Business
  • KIGNET Human Resources
  • KIGNET Enterprise
  • KIGNET  Marketing
  • KIGNET Lex
  • KIGNET Finances
  • KIGNET Innovations
  • KIGNET Legalization
  • KIGNET Quality
  • KIGNET Municipal Services
  • KIGNET Professional Activation and Development of Women
  • KIGNET Environment Protection
  • KIGNET Business Partner
  • KIGNET Lobbying

Sub-networks of functional profile:

  • KIGNET Info
  • KIGNET Consulting
  • KIGNET Training

The KIGNET network, thanks to the 60% participation of business environment organizations will cover the whole country already during the early stages of its operations, thus enabling all interested enterprises to use its services. Its mechanisms will allow for the synergy effect: local companies will be offered, through the local chamber, services which so far were inaccessible for them; and the services offered earlier will have larger scope and higher quality thanks to the cooperation among chambers.
